“Fitness is my passion!”
Owner / Trainer / Director Julie’s passion for fitness started in 1991 when she began teaching group fitness classes at Wareings Gym in Virginia Beach. She then became a certified Personal Trainer in 2001. Julie is a Graduate of Old Dominion University; Certifications from the National Council on Strength and Fitness (Personal Trainer), Tufts University (Nutrition Specialist), as well as certifications from AFAA Primary Group Fitness, AAAI, Kickboxing and Profitness Cycling. She is also a member of IDEA Health and Fitness Association. Julie’s training philosophy consists of educating clients on the benefits and application of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, nutrition and flexibility to achieve total body wellness.
